- 4 / 5By Jim ShaferWe like the Branding Iron and visit often, usually to eat. But, whoever is in the kitchen and especially on a busy night, like a Friday, the food is overcooked. Oh, not the special of the night but many other items. I ordered a simple cheeseburger and I could have resoled my shoes with it. And we usually order an appetizer of mushrooms and it doesn't matter if it a busy night or not, they are always overcooked even if you ask the waitress to caution them not to overcook them. Go figure that the owner, an extremely friendly and nice man, is not aware of all this and does something about it.September 08, 2016
