  The music and environment was fun and exciting. I loved that they had live music, so many options for seating, and a fun beach area. The food and service however, was terrible.
  
  It took almost 10 minutes from when we were seated for a waitress to take our drink order. We arrived early in the evening and the place was practically empty, so they weren't even busy. We saw several waitresses pass right by us and instead go stand and talk to other tables (not serving them, just talking) for several minutes at a time.
  
  Once we finally had our drinks and our food, the food was terrible as well. I ordered crab legs and when they arrived they were brown and looked like they had been drug through the dirt before being served to me. Some of them even looked like they had plants coming out of them. I don't think they were ever washed. I risked eating them only to find them to be bland and completely flavorless. My friend got the buffalo chicken wrap and she said hers had no flavor either. She had to ask for more sauce to even be able to get it down. Another friend ordered a build your own pizza (each additional topping is $1, which is rather ridiculous) and it was easy to tell that the crust was pre-made with zero effort put into making it.
  
  Of the 3 dishes we ordered nothing was worth eating and was over priced based on the quality of food provided. I would recommend Captain Ron's for their rentals, drinks, music, and environment, but definitely not for their food.

  Dismal off season service. 14 tables between 3 servers, only 10 were occupied and we saw our waiter 3 times over 3 hours. Order multiple drinks if you don't want to go thirsty. Food is mediocre or worse.

  Usually pretty good. Often have live music. Fun and comfortable atmosphere. Service speed isn't fantastic, but not terrible. Food is pretty good. Can either boat or drive here. Fun and relaxing place.

  Tried to try this place out last weekend (10/15) around 5:30 pm....and when I say try...we gave them ample attempts... The place was steady but was not busy by any means however there was college football on. There was a group of 7 of us (so not too hard to spot)....yet no one was able to notice us long enough to even wait on us. We waited out on the deck at a dirty table for over 10 minutes....I ended up cleaning the entire table off myself just to give us a place to sit down. I tried flagging 3 different servers down and they all just looked at me. No one came so we went inside to the tables by the bar....still....15 minutes and no one even bothered to make their way over. I know we were seen. The young girl was too busy chatting it up with the young men watching the game and the male waiter was doing the same. Finally, after a almost 30 minutes wasted, I loudly (not shouting but just loud enough that the waiter standing NEXT TO US that saw us 3 times could hear me) said how ridiculous it was that we sat so long and didn't even get any service. The guy turned and looked right at me. He knew what I was talking about and yet didn't even try to correct his mistake or anyone elses for that matter. So, we will not be trying this place again. It was ridiculous. We instead went to another establishment at the lake and were waited on within 5 minutes of arrival and had a great dinner. Your loss guys. We spent a pretty penny and it could've been yours.

  Atmosphere is great, we played Beach Volleyball for hours while the youngen swam at the beach. Food was good but not enough to fill you up. Half pint mixed drinks blah.
